Music is an important part of our worship and we enjoy a wide variety, from traditional hymns to modern songs and choruses. we do not necessarily
know all the traditional music from each of our denominations, but we are always willing to learn and our repertoire is constantly growing.
We use songs mostly from Songs of Fellowship, books 1,2,3 & 4 and from Singing the Faith, but also some from Junior Praise, Spring Harvest 97, Mission Praise, Hymns & Psalms,
and a few from other sources. We have a CCLI license so we can display the words on a screen or print songsheets and provide copies of the music
for our musicians. A few of the songs we use are not covered: we have to use books for those.
Usually we use
recorded backing tracks: the quality of these is very varied, and we are constantly trying to improve our collection of tracks. A few of them include
voices; most are instrumental. Occasionally we have a live worship group, including some or all of flute, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, male voice and female voice.
